Setup and managing startup companies in Goiania and Brasilia, Brazil. Establishing the expansion plans and the investments, products and sales strategy for a packaging startup and daily management of the 2 subsidiaries. Thierry’s role includes the identification of future client organizations; establishing privileged relationship with key accounts and proposal management. Thierry is also in charge of supplier’s selection and relations. As IT Consultant, Thierry is helping Motrix Brasil (Rio de Janeiro) to develop its website and presence on the Internet.

As IT Director, Thierry is responsible for three applications deployed at international agent’s locations. This comprises a Web based Point of Sales software, a Java based Business Rule engine and a settlement and reconciliation program. In this position, Thierry owns the overall responsibility for these lines of products, from the roadmap to the deployment at the end user location. Thierry is responsible to introduce the Agile methodology as new development method. Thierry is also responsible for the best sourcing strategy and leads on-site and off-shore teams located in Europe, United States and India comprised of 30+ people from more than 6 different nationalities. As IT Director, Thierry was able to rollout to more than 13,000 locations Western Union’s first web based Point of Sales reaching 18,000 locations equipped worldwide. He increased the up-time from 82.3% to 99.8%.

Actively contribute in defining/challenging and fine tuning the methodology and processes of Business Line Management and ensure that they are known by all parties involved and compliant with ITIL best practices. Set-up and manage the IT environment for the Business Intelligence and Internal Applications business lines. Ensure that all future requirements for the environments are planned and implemented in a timely fashion. Monitor and measure the IT environments and manage the available resources. Establish a realistic capacity plan identifying the deliverables and associated resources for the involved delivery teams. Ensure appropriate communication and coordination across sub-departments and to senior management.

Management of several cross-European projects related to collaboration tools. The projects involved the EMC's located in UK, France, Turkey and Poland and the Brussels based head office. The program included the recommendations, implementation and tests on Video over IP, electronic whiteboards, wireless e-mail for general managers and upper management, remote e-mail access and mobile office concept. The duties involved negotiations with suppliers, establishment and review of SLA's, management of the implementation of pilot solutions, supervision and coordination of testing as well as recommendations to senior management. Thierry additionally developed technology roadmaps and strategy based upon 5 year vision.

As European Field IT Senior Manager for Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc., Thierry assisted the European Field IT Systems Manager in his operational duties. Tasks included creation and alignment of Field IT objectives in various domains such as Personal Productivity, Videoconferencing Project, Voice Strategy follow-up, Service Improvement steering committees, KBI and balanced scorecards, Policies definition and Asset Management projects. Thierry reported weekly to European level management with projects overview, management escalations and statuses of ongoing projects. His duties also involved active supervision of projects locally initiated, by regional, European or global entities. The European Field IT group supervises UK, France and BeNeLux regional Information Systems departments.
